Google Updates: Google Chrome OS now Kiosk Mode

Google has added a new Managed Public Sessions feature intended to be highly customizable for users without necessitate a login.

This ‘kiosk mode’ means Chrome book or Chrome box devices might find their way into libraries, hotels, warehouse floors and retail stores, where both clientele and employees can log in to the computer without provide credentials.

Features include the capability to set the evasion sites and apps a user sees at login, custom brand the homepage, block sites and apps that shouldn't be contact, organize device inputs and outputs, and set timed log-out sessions.

For security motive, public session data is cleared on logout so the next addict starts fresh.
